Hello friends.  I'd like to expand the RAM on my HP-15-cc1xx to 16 gb.  It is now at 12 gb.  Will switching out the 4 gb card with this do the trick? -  Crucial 8GB Single DDR4 2400 MT/S (PC4-19200) SR x8 SODIMM 260-Pin Memory - CT8G4SFS824A

If there is a better 8gb stick out there, I'd love any recommendations.  Thanks

Not only will your notebook have more memory, but the memory will run in the better performing dual data rate (DDR) mode instead of the single data rate (SDR) mode it is currently running in.
