What specific RAM module shall be used to expand the memory, if possible? I have 8GB memory today and want to expand to 16GB or more...

Below is the link to the Crucial memory report for a very similar model to yours.

 

Memory RAM & SSD Upgrades | hp - compaq | pavilion 14 systems | Pavilion 14-ce3506sa | Crucial.com

 

According to the report, your notebook has one memory slot, and the max the slot can take is 1 x32 GB of memory.

 

The specs for your notebook indicate that it uses DDR4-2666 MHz memory, so you can buy the DDR4-2666 16 GB or 32 GB memory modules listed...

Crucial 16GB DDR4-2666 SODIMM | CT16G4SFD8266 | Crucial.com

 

Here is the link to the latest service manual that HP has for your notebook.  It is out of date, but perhaps will assist you in opening it up to get to the memory location.
