Hp x2
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)
My wife recently bought me a hp x2 for father's day thinking I would be able to record my music and guitar on it. My dilemma here is memory and the lack of usb ports. What is the max micro sd it will take and if I got a usb hub or multiplier would they all work simultaneously.

Yes a hub will work. A powered hub is more likely to be able to handle two devices externally.

Normally, it is safe to use 128GB SDor microSD cards. But what is your HP x2  ? Please use the following instructions to find out the model/product of your machine:

Please do NOT post its Serial number (s/n).

Its specs does not show the type and capacity of storage

    https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c05301845/   (USA)

But I think it has 32GB eMMC storage (which is similar to SD cards) and it is soldered to the motherboard. But it has 1 microSD media card reader.

As mentioned above you can use 128GB microSD card on the card reader slot as secondary drive.

There are many microSD cards around, for example

     https://www.samsung.com/uk/memory-storage/evo-plus-microsd-card-with-sd-adapter-100/MB-MC128GAEU/

I've got few of them on my machines and tablets right now; they are ok (price/performance) from my view.

Regards.
