I am wondering if I can expand the RAM of my laptop (da1010na) to 16GB!?
The installed RAM is DDR4 8GB!
Go to Solution.
Yes, you can add a second 8 GB memory module if you want.
You can even upgrade that model to 2 x 16 GB of memory.
Here is a service video guide link for how to take the notebook apart to remove and replace the memory.
You can buy Crucial memory in the UK.
Select the item number you want from the above report and change the country flag at the top right of the page and select the United Kingdom.
Yes specs show it has a single 8 gb module and two slots so one open. This video shows how to do the upgrade:
Uses DDR4-2400 SO-DIMM.
So yes you can upgrade to 16 gb total by adding another 8 gb DDR4-2400 SO-DIMM.
Post back with any more questions and please accept as solution if this is the info you needed.
