I would like to attach a firewire device and I was wondering if HP ever made an expresscard for firewire. If not is there another way to use firewire with this machine?

Plenty of third party express cards to firewire

I am a volunteer, offering my knowledge to support fellow users, I do not work for HP nor speak for HP.

I still have the following adapter

I don't use it now, no modern notebooks have Express card slot.
Regards.

I may not live in your country. If you are living around Melbourne (Australia), I can send to you but not now Victoria is being locked down, I can't leave my house to go to to the Post Office.
Regards.
