Hi!
I bought this laptop a few months ago. I've trying to find where I optimize my battery life expectancy but I can't find it? Most important feature for this is to make sure that it doesn't fully recharge all the time since the laptop is basically always connected to a power outlet. I want it to automatically keep at 50-70 % charge up.

Some of HP Business laptops have it but not the consumer line

There is no way to do that. Some laptops have a BIOS setting to limit battery charge, generally to 80%. Your model does not have that. If you keep it plugged in it's going to charge to 100%. It does have a feature where it has to drop to below 95% and recharge to 100%  before a cycle is registered on the battery so the effect on your battery life is negligible from not having a charge limiter.

Ok. Thanks for the response.
I'm used to have the option so I just assumed HP's had that feature as well.
