Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

Hi, I just recently purchased this laptop (HP 15s-eq2195AU). I wanted to confirm if extending the ram would cause the warranty to void. Is this true? I have searched online that upgrading the ram would not void the warranty. But this is applied to specific region/country only. My country is malaysia. Any feedback are much appreciated.

Warranty is a grey/gray area, very hard to say in concrete. For new generation machines, adding something or fixing something is a work for Authorized Service Provider parts .

However you can add yourself. If something went wrong due to this upgrade, I think HP would not honor warranty.
