Hello, I cant find the information about what is the maximum capacity of RAM which I can install in hp pavilion dv6-6130ew. Now I have 4GB but I have also one empty slot and I dont know if I can buy a second one . So what is max amount of RAM my laptop hardware supports?

Can have brands ... ADATA, Samsung, Kingston, hynix, Crucial (by Micron), Elpida, Nanys, etc ...

 

Example : Brand Keyston ...

8GB Module - DDR3 1333MHz
Número de parte: KCP313SD8/8
Especificaciones: DDR3 , 1333MHz , Non-ECC , CL9 , X8 , 1.5V , Unbuffered , SODIMM , 204-pin

Your machine is similar with the following machine which support 16GB of RAM

 

   http://www.crucial.com/usa/en/compatible-upgrade-for/HP---Compaq/pavilion-dv6-6108us

 

You can add 4GB or 8GB to the second slot, or throw away existing 4GB, buy 2 sticks of 8GB and make it to 16GB.
