Hello @IanDay,

 

Any monitor should work as long as you have the correct output and input. I believe your laptop relies on USB-C Thunderbolt 3 ports for display-out, therefore, you would need to purchase a USB-C to (HDMI, DisplayPort, etc) adapter.

 

I don't know where you're exactly located but you can browse some monitors by HP US: https://store.hp.com/us/en/cv/accessories-filters?cat=xm5DJ&jumpid=ma_accy_button_na_1_180812

 

If you're looking for gaming monitors, I would like to recommend BenQ monitors. 

 

If you're looking for curved monitors or good screen quality, Samsung monitors may be in your best interest.

 

Since most monitors or TVs are connected through HDMI, a USB-C to HDMI adapter such as this would be required.

 

Just a few suggestions.
