I have been gaming more recently and only have an intel UHD Graphics 620 card and have been looking up external graphics card, and was wondering if I could potentially get a Nvidia external graphics card. I know that you need a thunderbolt 3 port which I believe I have but I read that they might be incompatible unless I already have an internal Nvidia graphics card, which I don't.

Given your machine already has Thunderbolt™ 3 port(s). HP Omen Accelerator could be an option:

I did read about the Omen Accelerator but can't seem to find it available anywhere? The link only takes me to an overview and there's no options about actually buying it or how much it will cost? Has it been discontinued? Also I just want to know whether I can use an external nvidia gpu with an Intel gpu, would they be compatible?
