Hi @Dinesh8641,

I understand your external keyboard is not working on your Windows 11 laptop. Let’s go through steps to troubleshoot this.
Check the Connection Type
If it’s USB, plug it directly into a different USB port on your laptop.
If it’s wireless/Bluetooth, ensure it is powered on and in pairing mode.
Check for Battery or Power
For wireless keyboards, make sure the batteries are charged or fully inserted.
For wired keyboards, ensure the cable is not damaged.
Restart Your Laptop
Sometimes Windows 11 needs a fresh start to detect new hardware.
Restart the laptop and check if the keyboard works after reboot.
Check Device Recognition
Go to Settings → Devices → Bluetooth & other devices (for Bluetooth) or Device Manager → Keyboards (for USB).
See if your keyboard appears. If it shows a warning icon, right-click and select Update driver.
Install or Update Drivers
For some keyboards, especially gaming or branded ones, you may need the manufacturer’s driver/software.
Visit the keyboard manufacturer’s website to download the latest driver for Windows 11.
Try on Another Device
Connect the keyboard to another PC or laptop to verify it’s not faulty.
Check Keyboard Settings
Make sure Filter Keys is not enabled in Settings → Accessibility → Keyboard, as it can block key input.
USB Troubleshooting (if wired)
Unplug all other USB devices temporarily.
Plug the keyboard into a USB 2.0 port instead of USB 3.0/3.1, if available.
I hope this helps.
