HP EliteBook 840 G5
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The 256 GB SSD disk that comes with the system is way to small for my needs. Is it possible to add another SSD-disk or as a second option, can I upgrde the current disk with a larger capasity one?

To answer your second part if your question:  Yes you can update the current drive to 1Tb is needed, all you need to do is prepare a cloud recovery USB thumb-drive to quickly restore the laptop or use Sure Recovery from the bios to reinstall the laptop using the Internet (will take at least 50 minutes, but I have super fast Internet).  Make sure you purchase a compatible NVMe PCIe 3x M.2 2280 SSD.  Do not go for a QLC drive (Intel 660p) even if you think that is a great deal.  The recommended drive is a TLC
