F2 key not work default rename edit

i'm using hp 15-du0411tu notebook and have problem

many people got used to rename items with f2 but with my new hp dv7 i have to use fn+f2 instead 

f2/f3 keys change to brightness, i don't use it

is it possible to change this and rename items with f2 as usual, but without disabling fn keys?

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

I know exactly what you mean, however, there's no option supported by HP as such to re-map the keys, you could use 3rd party software to get the work done at your own discretion.
