H there, the F5 and F6 functions for brightness not working on my Elitebook 820 G3.
This is a previously owned laptop, that I've wiped and started afresh with. All updates are up to date.
I can see lots of others have been having problems and like them I've updated all the drivers etc.
The keys are functioning, I've used a keyboard tester, and they work fine.
I have seen recommendations for a HP Function Key Driver, but that doesn't seem to exist anymore.
Does anyone know how to resolve this please? Ideally someone who has had the same problem and fixed it.
Thank you.

Hello @HaroldBishop,
"I have seen recommendations for a HP Function Key Driver, but that doesn't seem to exist anymore."
Are you perhaps referring to HP's Hotkey driver? If so, you do have one available.
HP Hotkey Support

If that doesn't work, you might as well try uninstalling your graphics driver in Device Manager. Open Device Manager > expand Display Adapters > Right-click and uninstall your graphics drivers.
Reinstall graphics drivers available from your computer's Software and Drivers page. Reboot.
Let me know how it all goes.

Eddy
