Please my USB ports aren't working and after a Bios test I got the following failure ID
FAILURE ID : QAL382-B0DB2G-MFGH5G-8D5P03
My system is under warranty but after sending to one of HP service centres, it took a month before finally telling me that no issue was found.
Please is this an error I can resolve myself?

Hi:
Below is the failure report generated by the code you posted, minus your PC's serial number.
QAL382-B0DB2G-MFGH5G-8D5P03 | OK | 0000000000 | 3/21/22 | 434 | Communications | GPS, HUB, Modem, Network Card, Network Drive, PCI Card, PCMCIA, Switch, USB | USB Failure (unspecified) |
Unfortunately, the report doesn't tell you anything useful.
I don't think that it is anything you can fix yourself unless you want to try reinstalling the operating system and see if that works.
Chapter 5. page 47 of the service manual has a procedure to remove and replace the USB board, which would be the next step you could try.
The thing I don't understand is that if the USB ports aren't working, why would the HP service center technicians tell you that there is nothing wrong.
All they needed to do was to plug in a USB flash drive and if it didn't show up, they would know that there is a problem.
To me 'no issue was found' means they tested the USB ports and they worked.
So, it seems to me that they didn't do very much testing.

Thanks for your quick response.
I had recently installed windows 11 and after some weeks this issue started and reinstalled windows 10 back the issue persisted.
I don't know if it changes anything but I will put my product ID below with a picture of the test result I snapped.
FAILURE ID: QAL382-B0DB2G-MFGH5G-8D5P03
PRODUCT ID: 4A3C5EA#BH5
In my country Nigeria many things are jokes, they seemed reluctant to work on warranty cases and had to send the system to another branch that handles the repair, maybe the other branch didn't understand my issue since I didn't explain it personally.
Concerning the last part, I would like to avoid anything that will make me open my motherboard since I damaged my previous system by trying to install a HDD. Worse comes worse I will take it to any other repair center
