Hello, community!
I've been experiencing trouble with the FN and left CTRL not working on my HP 450 G3 not working at all. I tried the keys with On-Screen Keyboard and it seems, FN key is getting the role of L-CTRL which is really awkward for me.
Any suggestions? Thanks in advance

None of the suggestions worked out, but rethinking the whole thing I took a peek at the BIOS setup and found there's an option for swapping these keys and was already enabled. Disabled ir and everything got back to normal.
Thanks for your kind help!

Did you happened to have changed the input language setting?

I'm not quite sure I understand what you say. My language is set to Spanish Latinamerican, both my keyboard and screen one. I've managed to boot on Ubuntu to see if it was a problem with Windows but the issue still remains.

Changing the language changes the way that the keyboard is mapped. That is why I asked.
You might consider verifying the HP Hotkey support driver from2019 has been installed.
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp96501-97000/sp96721.exe
That file is located at the driver and software downloads for your notebook in the support portal

If you boot up and still have the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI utility installed, you can start tapping the F2 key to enter the utility.
In the utility there are component tests. You can run the keyboard test to see if the keys are working as they should,
You can also plug in a USB keyboard while logged into Windows or Ubuntu to see if the same problem is present on the USB keyboard.
