Hello everyone,
So, I bought yesturday this laptop with these specs:
Product name : 15-Dw0004nk
CPU: i7-8565U
RAM: 16 GB DDR4 2400Mhz
GPU: MX250
and when i play League of Legends while the charger is plugged in, I get 200+ fps then after 10-ish seconds , the fps goes to 15~20 for couple seconds and the cpu clock runs at 0.3 ghz, then everything goes back to normal and cpu speed too (3~4ghz), and this happens only while the charger is plugged.
Here's what I did so far:
-Made sure that BIOS is updated to the latest version.
-Made a fresh install of windows and installing all drivers from HP
-Put the power profile more on "High Performance".
Note that if i disable turbo boost using a 3rd party program, the problem disappears but the CPU clock speed is stuck at 1.7Ghz which is not so great.
Thanks in advance !

@AM666, Welcome to HP Support Community!
The league of legends game requires the following system requirements-
· CPU: 3GHz Processor (supporting SSE2 instruction set or higher)
· RAM: 4GB RAM.
· HDD: 16GB Free Space.
· GPU: Nvidia GeForce 8800 / AMD Radeon HD 5670 or equivalent video card with dedicated memory of 512MB or higher VRAM.
· OS: Windows 7, 8.1, or Windows 10.
And you computer is not designed for gaming purpose, it is for day-to-day use.
As you already tried, disabling turbo boost will resolve the issue.
If you need further assistance on this, reach out to the HP Support in your region.
