Facing multiple issues on my HP Laptop, Windows 11
I am facing all these issues contemporarily:
1. Caps lock does not work properly: When I type it's something like "HELLo hOw are yOu"
2. Number keys, Shift keys etc. Do not work, instead the symbol appears when type Number keys
3. Every new tab opens in a new window.
4. The "Scroll Bar" feature does not work properly
5. I am unable to copy anything, a weird page with commands pops up everytime
I tried Clean boot and the issue still appears and options like Updating or Deleting keyboard driver. Num lock key, but none of them helps.
I installed the latest Driver chipsets, It didn't help either, Finally, after a month I performed a reset on my laptop, again the issue is still occuring.
I am certain that all the problems that I am facing are linked to each other, they seem to appear and dissapear together.

Have you run diagnostics?
Tap the ESC key after powering on. . Tap it once a second after you see the LEDs on the keyboard flash. When you see the startup menu, press F2 to run diagnostics.
Do not allow any updates if disk or memory fail, especially a BIOS update.
HP releases newer UEFI diagnostics periodically. When you select F2 during boot you are requesting UEFI diagnostics. There is an updated diagnostics package Click Here Look for the phrase 'issues outside the OS', Expand the'+'symbol and click the DOWNLOAD button. |
If a component fails during the UEFI test then Click here to check warranty
and have it serviced.
If this strange problem occurs in only in windows then try the following
1 - Malicious software
Scan for "Malicious" software. Generally speaking this is software that is not considered a virus or trojan. It performs unwanted functions such as downloading newer advertisements or reporting what the users is looking to buy and offering alternative suggestions. Typically free games have these apps.
Type MRT in the windows search bar.
2 - virus scan
Microsoft has a safety scanner you can try

You can submit suspicious files or websites here
