Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi - My work gave me a ZBook Firefly 15 G8.  I was also given an HP docking station/USB-C hub that comes with its own 90W power adapter, which I'm told actually powers the notebook itself (when the docking station is being used).  Unfortunately the power adapter that came with the laptop itself got mixed in with others (all HP), so I want to be sure that I'm using the right one when powering the laptop directly, without the docking station/hub.

I THINK the one that came with the laptop is as follows:

HP Part No. 854055-003

Output is 19.5V  /   3.33 Amps  (65W)

Center of plug is (+)

On the bottom of the laptop it says:

Input 19.5V  /  2.32 Amps (45W)

Is there a way to know for sure if the adapter described above is the right one to use to power the laptop directly (i.e. no docking station/hub)?

Any feedback is appreciated!

Hi:

I don't see that part number you listed among the ones in your notebook's service manual (chapter 3, page 24).

Maintenance and Service Guide (hp.com)

The ones listed are 65W and 45W though.
