My laptop occasionally fails to recognize my SSD and shows the "No Boot Device Detected (3F0)" code. On one occasion that it did boot, I ran the HP UEFI Diagnose Test and it said that the Smart Check passed, whereas the SSD Short DST Check failed. Can somebody help me?

Hi:
According to the failure report, your SSD is about to fail or has failed.
You would need to install a new SSD and reinstall the operating system in order to fix the problem.
Below is the link to the service manual where you can find the SSD removal and replacement procedure.
The product specs for your notebook indicate that it comes with a 360 GB NVMe M.2 SSD.

It would probably be very hard to find a 360 GB SSD, so you may want to go with one of the readily available 500 GB M.2 2280 SSD's, such as a WD Black 750, or a Samsung EVO 870.
After you replace the drive, you can use the HP cloud recovery tool to create a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall W10, the drivers and the software that originally came with your notebook.
You will need to have access to another Windows PC running W7 64 bit or newer, and a 32 GB USB flash drive.
Here is an info link for how to use that utility.
