I am grateful for your valuable and informative reply. I replaced the old one with a 500 GB SSD and reinstalled the operating system associated with updated drives. Now, it functions never better. Inspired by your advice, I am considering upgrading the RAM to 16 GB but unsure if it is operable. After taking on new vital elements, I have had an extraordinary experience with HP online services, making me comfortable and pleasant. Coping with computer issues, indispensable in the digital world, is convenient and confident, as is utilizing HP's after-sales service. It is not perfect, but it is on the way to perfect. My next computer is absolutely an HP.
Working on the HP laptop is brilliant and fascinating.

You're very welcome.
Below is the link to the product specs for your notebook:
HP Spectre x360 13-4020nd Product Specifications | HP® Support
According to the specs your notebook comes with 8 GB DDR3L SDRAM (onboard) memory.
'Onboard' means the memory is an integral part of the motherboard and cannot be upgraded.
Chapter 3 of the service manual indicates that motherboards came with either 4 GB or 8 GB of onboard memory, so your notebook has the most memory HP offered in the model series.
