Thanks a lot. I dowloaded the driver folder exactly as you said. But how can I install the driver? I can't do it via Windows Device manager, I fear..

With th new driver 3.6.8.7 it also works again with my ac004ng. The x.x.x.1 driver did not do the trick.

1. Bring up Device Manager from your search

2. Locate the Cameras from the dropdown list

3. Update your HP TrueVision

4. You should see the search automatically option or browse the driver software option. 

5. Locate where you saved the .cab files.

Thanks again, but it doesn't work: even by selecting the folder where the .cab files are, Device Manager seems to consider the installed (and older) driver the best option...
