Hi,
It is possible that the PC is overheating without you feeling it. The PC will shut down if the CPU reaches a certain temp to avoid damage.
Are the air vents not obstructed when you use the PC.
Do you hear the fan spinning, it should be spinning hard if overheating is occurring.
The vents could be blocked with dust or debris depending on where the PC is used.
Hope it helps,
David

The air vents are usually not covered and the fans run constantly even when nothing is open. The weird part is everytime it says its overheated its at 90 degress, no more no less which is why i think its a false diagnosis.

OK.
Are we talking 90 degrees Fahrenheit or Celsius?
Most likely Celsius which is hot for a CPU to be running at continuously.
You could check in Task Manager and see if any process is using a lot of CPU power
What is the exact model of your PC?

It could be a problem with the fan or the vents needing cleaning, (or being blocked)
Hope it helps,
David
