My fan is making noise and needs to be replaced.  I have the instructions to disassemble, replace, and reassemble.  However, there appear to be three possible fan replacements available, a 666391-001, 666390-001, or 666392-001.  How can I determine is I have 2048-MB, 1024-MB, or UMA memory on my computer.  I have an Intel processor i-7-2670QM.  Serial # is [Personal Information Removed].  Once I determine that, I would be able to order the correct fan in advance and could complete the repair in one day.  Thank you.  John

Hi, John:

Below is the link to the parts list for your notebook, which has fan/heatsink part number you need.

HP PartSurfer

666392-001
THERMAL MODULE - UMA

UMA = Unified Memory Architecture = Notebooks that have the onboard Intel graphics adapter only, not the AMD/Intel switchable graphics.
