Spoiler

HI everyone,

The fan on my Hp Spectre, which is less than a month old, won't stop running, even if I just turn on the Laptop and I have no application going it will turn on the fan until I turn it off. This issue appeared recently, the fan started while I was streaming videos online and never stopped since. I checked with the task manager to see if there is any suspect activity but the CPU usage is at less than 10% even if I have many pages opened on Chrome.

Hope you guys can help me solve this,

Thank You!

HP Spectre 13 and Spectre 15 x360 Convertible PCs - Cooling Fan Runs Constantly

https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-spectre-13-ap0000-x360-convertible-pc/23238155/model/2459643...

The fan runs even when the computer is performing small tasks. This may occur if the Thermal Profile status in the HP Command Center is set to Cool mode. As a result, the fan runs frequently.

Thanks for the help, the settings for the fan were on hp recommended, and the fan was still going at high pace, if I set on quiet, fan still runs, at a lower pace but still.  I don't think this is normal given the apps I have open and the fact that I noticed a sudden change in the behavior of the PC over the last couple of days.

How do I check for that?

Power-on and start tapping the " esc " key or " f10 " to go into the BIOS.

Click on the Configuration tab.
