Product: HP Envy x360 15m-bq021dx
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

TL;DR: Replacing fan on HP Envy x360 15m-bq021dx, need a specific part number for fan that will fit (OEM or otherwise)

 

 

The laptop is making a bad-fan-please-replace-me noise. I'm not that familiar with laptops, but have built enough PCs to recognize that loud whirr. No heating issues yet (whew), just a very, very annoying grinding hum.

 

I'd like to open/replace it, but there's a dizzying array of possibilities and I haven't found an exact match for the laptop model number. Experience tells me that 'close enough' pn-wise can lead to a lot of frustration.  

 

Can anyone help? Maybe a link to the right fan or a fan part number to search on?
