I'm looking to replace my fan to my laptop. I found two alternative choices but I am unsure in which one to buy. My laptop model is 15-as068nr and the replacement # for the fan is 857805-001. The possible options both had the item # but the models werw 15-as152nr & 15-as020nr. Would either of these work for my laptop?

Chapter 3, page 18 only shows one fan part number that is used for every model in the 15-as0xx model series.

 

HP ENVY Notebook PC (model numbers 15-as000 through 15-as099) Maintenance and Service GuideIMPORTANT...

 

Fan (includes cable)   HP part # 857805-001

 

That means as long as you buy a fan that references that part number, it should work fine.

 

It doesn't matter what model 15-as0xx laptop the seller is referencing as long as they are referencing that parr number.
