Hi - I am trying to find out what fan part# I need to replace one that seems to be going out - I cannot find specs anywhere, or a manual to refer to, the part finder on HP's site does not recognize my model or serial #, I do not even know if my computer has one or two fans, or which one I would need to order, or both... the noise (as it tries to spin and then sputters) is coming from the top left area as I am typing, if that helps identify what I need - one video tutorial I found is a guide for replacing the "Right Fan", which let me know there may be two in my machine...I am trying figure out what I need without opening it up and taking things apart before I need to for the repair, can anyone help me with this?
Thank you

Amy

Hi:

Enter your notebook's product number in the search window at the link below, and it should provide the parts list which will include the fan part number and description.

HP PartSurfer

You don't need to enter the #ABA that follows the product number.

Chapter 3, page 20 of the service manual also has the right fan part number.
