Hello @uri-man-dara

I do not know the history, so I can only make assumptions:
- The fan can be damaged or blocked by dust/dirt.

- The power cable of the fan may also have come loose.

- The sensor that controls the fan is broken.

- It can have many causes, and yes, a bios update may have caused it. However, this would be an isolated case, because HP will recognize this very quickly through customer reports and fix it with a Bios update.

Sorry, but in your case: Service is required !
- The computer should be disassembled and checked.
- [Always recommended ] Thermal paste for CPU GPU and bridges must be renewed
- The function of the fan(s) must be checked / REPLACE if required

Short circuit test

- ( if required ) Bios (chip) desolder, reflash, Bios (chip) solder in

- charger/battery test

- Components test

- General cleaning ...

--- HP warranty valid -> Contact HP Support

--- HP warranty expired:

If you can't do that, you should have it <serviced> by a professional notebook (chip level) repair store.

Good luck

hi , yes , in some days Hp will replace fans , heat sink and motherboard with older Bios. it’s impossible to rollback bios          .      the history : 10 days ago I updated bios to latest version and left fan stoped working , I have informed HP about the problem . and seems that they tried to fix this so new bios version release 2 days ago . but instead of turning on left fan , right one was disabled 😉 .

Hello @uri-man-dara

Decide for yourself, I have suggested you the appropriate solutions. Now that 2 fans no longer work, you can not install a bios update, because the risk is too high that the update process is interrupted when notebook shuts down due to overheating !

- For me the case is closed -

Good luck
