Hello,

 

It has been two months since I have purchased my Laptop and since then never were the fans even switching on but the performance was on par and no issue at all, but since 2 days suddenly the fans are always running at mid level RPMs making a very irritating noise, like a whistle.

I noticed some dust accumulated near the vents.

What could be the issue?

 

I'm guessing there is just a lot of dust in the system and it needs to be cleaned. I can do this on my own and have experience doing this with other laptops. 

My device is under warranty, would I be voiding the warranty if I opened the laptop and cleaned it very carefully?

 

Because we're on the topic I want to ask another question, would I be voiding the warranty if I upgrade my RAM.
