Hi Folks ,
I bought this laptop for 12 year daughter , after few days of usage , i noticed the laptops hinge has just come loose and is pushing the screen out, the screen hasn't cracked yet. When i checked with HP , was told hardware is not part of warranty .
what ..? yes , so in few days the Hinge will come out , the body will separate from the screen and its not HP hardware problem.
I have noticed that this seems to be a common issue with these laptops and was wondering if any one was able to get theirs repaired out of warranty under Consumer Law.
Its big loss for me , i checked in the market and no repair shop is able to repair it or replace the faulty hardware. People offers few bugs for the other hardware like hard-disk ,processor. whats going on with HP. Why are they selling faulty laptops and not repairing it in warranty . Do we have to approach for consumer courts all the time. why are they not recalling such faulty laptops. So here is my plan, i will work on this and will take this to every level to bring HP responsible for this .
