HP Notebook - 15-ay552tu
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello there, It's been 3 years that I'm using this Laptop and I love HP for providing such an amazing thing. But unfortunately, these days I'm unable to calibrate my battery perfectly and I saw a video of battery calibration from HP Official YouTube channel. And the video contained UEFI component test and my laptop don't have this thing pre-installed.

I also downloaded the UEFI from the official HP driver store after entering my serial number but when I install it, it says HP_TOOLS partition cannot be found. Would you like to create it? and I click on Yes. And later it shows another dialogue box, No space is available to create a new partition. Would you like to shrink the main partition to create a new one? This will not result in any data loss

What do I do? Is it alright to do so?

And my OS can't be stable, in every 4-6 months duration, I format my C drive and re-install the Windows. If I successfully install the UEFI tool after getting an answer on the above query, will the formating of C drive affect the UEFI partition?

Thanks

Yes go ahead and allow the UEFI installer to shrink the main partition to make room for a service partition. You can also run UEFI diagnostics from a bootable thumb drive. If you make a UEFI partition then a format of the drive will also get rid of the UEFI tools (service) partition.

And one last thing, what I've to install only those drivers which HP pre-defined for every laptop? Like, when I entered my serial number then I got a list of different tools for my Laptop, so, I've to install those tools only or I can install the upgraded version of those tools?

Thanks

Suppose I've installed UEFI v6.???? and HP released UEFI v7.???? & according to HP, I've to install UEFI v6.???? and that's the last version for my Laptop.

So, what I should have to install the upgraded version of this UEFI or staying on the version which is compatible according to my hardware?
