I have an HP Stream 14-cb164wm Notebook (Model Number 6SH07UA#ABA) which I purchased in December of last year and runs Windows 10 version 1809, which the Windows Update page in Settings says "...is nearing the end of service". I have attempted multiple times to update to Windows 10 version 1909, once via downloading a Windows Update Assistant program and once via a feature update through Windows Update in Settings. Due to the laptop having a 32GB hard drive and most of the hard drive space being used for important programs and system files, I use a 128GB HP USB 3.0 flash drive for extra storage. The furthest I've gotten in the update process before encountering problems is after a restart, when a "working on updates" screen comes up, and stays at 0% for about 20 minutes before undoing the update and starting Windows 10 version 1809 normally.
Is there any way the feature update for Windows 10 version 1909 can be installed on my laptop?

First off, the new Win10 version will be out the end of the month, so if you do the upgrade now, it will be OLD within a couple of weeks.
Second, you need to do the update from external media, not from Windows Update. That way, the bulk of the update files are stored externally and the update will take less space.
