I've just bought a probook from ebay, it came with Windows 10 installed.
There are a few devices that are listed under "other devices" in Device manager. I think, from searches, it's either the memory card reader or something USB. (Although there are USB controllers installed in dev man. Where can I get drivers for these devices? Or find out what they are?
This is the "base device" Hardware ID's
PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2392&SUBSYS_1621103C&REV_30

PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2392&CC_088000
PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2392&CC_0880
Device instance path:
PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2392&SUBSYS_1621103C&REV_30\4&2EC3DF03&0&01E2
Compatible IDs

Thank you, that worked a treat!
I'm wondering how you knew this or how I could find out in the future if I have a similar problem. Are you searching a publically available resource, just a different way to me? or is there a HP KB you're searching?

You're very welcome.
By now, I know what most of the device hardware ID's are, and where to find the drivers for them.
If you don't know what the hardware ID's are, you can google them and normally come up with a description of the hardware, and then go to the support page for your notebook and get them.
Your notebook is not supported by HP for W10, so normally you would install the drivers for the newest operating system that is supported for your model, which is Windows 8.1.
Sometimes the drivers from older operating systems don't work such as for notebooks with switchable graphics but 90% of the time just use the newest drivers available.
For future reference, here is the support and driver page for your notebook.
