Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Please try these steps - HP Notebook PCs - Keyboard Troubleshooting
If the issue still persists, I'd suggest you Contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your computer.
If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.

Thank you Amista,
Before I begin, I have a question.
For testing the keyboard it wants me to download the latest diagnostic. I have two options. One for Windows 10 and the other is for Windows 7, 8.1 and 10. My computer came with 8.1 and I upgraded to 10 so I am not sure which one to download?

Please download the software for your current Operating System (Win 10).
Let me know.
