Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I'm trying to upgrade the RAM in my notebook, but cannot determine the max RAM the motherboard can take. The MB has one slot for RAM and is currently running 4g ram.

You're very welcome.

Even the specs for the processor says the max memory is 8 GB, so you can't even experiment with 16 GB.

Upgrade to 8 GB and replace the slowpoke mechanical hard drive with a 2.5" SSD and you will squeeze all of the performance out if it that you can.

If you can live with a 500 GB SSD, they are less than $70 for a good one.
