HP ENVY x360 - 15m-dr0011dx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a HP ENVY x360 and for a while now my fingerprint scanner has had problems.  First, Windows Hello Fingerprint would say its unavailable, but now I am able to set it up.  However, once I try to set up the fingerprint sign in, it'll ask to put my finger on the scanner and then it says 'Something went wrong' or it wouldn't even scan it in the first place.

HI,

Have you used the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI --> Components to test the Fingerprint reader?

Press the power button and immediately tap the F2 key to invoke the Diagnostics utility

Post your result in the next reply to your thread.
