Hi Community,

I recently owned an Elitebook 840 G10, I installed all the drivers, which I can find on the support page. Unfortunately, I couldn't use the finger print scanner yet. This particular fingerprint (biometric) couldn't be found in the device manager as well. The laptop's palm rest does have a fingerprint scanner. Kindly help me solve this issue. Thank you.

As mentioned on page 13 of the manual it is an option (Fingerprint reader (select products only)). Did you buy THAT option for your machine ?
