Product: HP EliteBook 830 G6 Notebook PC
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

So I have this problem that my facial recognition is working in my sign in options but the fingerprint sign in isn't working yet have a built in fingerprint its not appearing at device manager, i tried updating the driver yet nothings work, i tried installing it manually and also didn't work.

Hi @allknowing11211

 

In these devices when the facial recognition is present, the fingerprint is an optional, you only have to put your finger but the fingerprint recognition module is not installed in the device.

so it's possible to have fingerprint as a sign in options here? can u give me a solution to have that fingerprint recognition feature?

There is only one solution to buy the module, use the part number in an internet search engine to find a dealer.
