Fingerprint signup

Does my PC have a  fingerprint reader? Does it support fingerprint sing up? Can I use an onscreen fingerprint ?

There is no mention of a fingerprint reader in the service guide.

"Not mentioned" means that there is no fingerprint reader installed and none listed as available for the series.

On screen fingerprint app?

No idea -- never checked into this type of option.

I would guess that if such is possible, the app would have to be fully self contained -- Windows sign-in might not recognize a device (on screen fingerprint reader).  ??

For those reading -- Device Manager > Biometric devices

If your Device Manager does not include category Biometric devices,

then there is no fingerprint reader installed in your computer.

IF the model of computer you have supports installation of the fingerprint reader, the information for doing so will be included in the service guide for your computer.
