HP Spectre x360 15-ch004na
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, my much hated HP Spectre x360 temperature gets extremely high (saw 97 °C = 206.6°F, see photo attached), I did all the things that I was told to do, such as Bios, and windows update, etc.

I’m pretty sure this laptop will start fire one day! And I’m not happy with it at ALL.image.png

@Sadik88 Welcome to HP Forums Community!

I understand this could be frustrating, however, there's something you should know about your device,

the processor you have can take up to 100°C of heat and still function normally: Click here to verify the same (Look under Tjunction, for details)

That said, HP doesn't recommend using 3rd party software to determine fan speed or heat as it may not be accurate, besides if the heat is unbearable there are a few things you can do to sort it: Click here for steps.

Let me know how that pans out,

Just in case you don't get back to us within 24 - 48hrs, and have a good day, ahead.
