DL 380 G7
Linux

Hi,

I'm new to HP product Hardware Upgrades.

Currently I'm using HP DL380 G7 server and installed Oracle Linux 7.0. I'm planning to upgrade Firware and BIOS but not sure how to check current running version and Links for latest RPMs for upgrade.

Can you suggest me the links for latest Firmware and BIOS for HP DL380 G7 server?

Thanks,

Divakar

The HP support link won't list any servers.

HP split into two companies a couple of years ago, and all the server support and the server support forums are part of the HP Enterprise (HPE) corporation.

Here is the support page for the HP DL380 G7 server...

Hi:

You may also want to post your question on the HPE Community Support Forum -- Proliant Servers section...

My personal philosophy is to NOT try to update the firmware, without a very-good reason, i.e., some description that is packaged with the update that describes a problem I have experienced, or may experience (such as the fans not properly increasing in speed when "extra" heat is measured).

Have you started at http://support.hp.com   and done a search, after entering your model-number?
