The screen on my Folio 13 laptop has cracked - it's a fairly old machine but I love it 🙂
Now I need the LCD number or HP SPS number on the part to order a new one. Can I somehow get the LCD number or HP SPS number based on the laptop serial and product numbers [personal info removed] and A7S55EA?
Many thanks, Anders

13.3-in, LED, BrightView SVA display panel 672350-001
See p. 36 of the Service Manual:
I found lots more on eBay Germany but way too expensive...700+ Euro.
Open the screen housing and get the screen manufacturer part number off the panel. HP has no record of that. With that info it will open up additional chances to find the part as you do not need the plastic screen housing just the panel. HP never offered just the panel as a replacement part.
Post back for any more help and please accept as solution if this is the info you needed.

That's great - thank you, Huffer!
One additional question: How do I open the screen housing to get the screen manufacturer part number? Does look like that is described in the Service manual (presumably since, as you say, HP never offered just the panel as a replacement part).

Yeah it's a problem. Fairly experienced laptop tech here. All I can say is you can separate the screen bezel from the back cover and see how the screen is mounted inside and then remove it. I've done it enough I can just sense how it is put together but hard to convey that without backup in the Manual.
