This is driving me crazy.

 

My folio 9480m eleitebook has THE LOUDEST FAN you have ever heard.  I have looked on multiple websites and have not found a fan that is similar to the the laptop, and i am wondering if either, (a) there is a replacement fan on the webste (reply with the link if so,) or (b) is tere a way to repair the fan?

 

help

its my "good" laptop for me

i need to fix this badly

BIOS system warnings for a month now

and its louder than the speakers, i need to use headphones to hear anything other than RRRRRRR

Fan part number 702859-001. Typically methods such as lubing the bushings will only provide temporary relief. You may be able to purchase the part through the HP parts store but it may also be considered a dealer only part. Ebay might be your friend here.
