I have looked on multiple websites and have not found a fan that is similar to the the laptop, and i am wondering if either, (a) there is a replacement fan on the webste (reply with the link if so,) or (b) is tere a way to repair the fan?

Fan part number 702859-001. Typically methods such as lubing the bushings will only provide temporary relief. You may be able to purchase the part through the HP parts store but it may also be considered a dealer only part. Ebay might be your friend here. Here is a link to the Maintenance and service guide that will provide disassembly assistance. http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05228980
