System fully updated, including BIOS. Sometimes on startup I get a message from HP System Event Utility —
“For full performance, connect a higher capacity power adapter. Your computer will run in reduce performance “
I am using the original power adapter. this has been occurring for months. The battery charges to 100%. I’ll continue to ignore it.

What is the AC Adapter wattage rating now ? please turn it up-side-down to see its W and part #. What is your Envy Laptop 17-cr0xxx ? Please use the following way to find out:

The AC adapter is 65W.
Envy Laptop 17-cr0013dx
Since I wrote, I decided to try the other USB-C port and I have not seen that reported message. The USB-C ports are not labeled any different, so I have no idea why this should matter.
