I recently change from 1TB of HDD to 240GB SSD and done data migration. But my laptop freeze after 10~15 minute startup since then. Then i try reformatting the laptop thinking it was windows 10 issue, however i noticed it even freezes in the BIOS mode.
Any help is appreciated.

Which is the SSD model?
Is the connections properly connected?
Have you updated BIOS to latest version before upgrade to SSD:
https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/swdetails/hp-pavilion-15-au100-notebook-pc/12499208...
It indicates provides improved SSD performance as fixes.
Also you may try updating IRST driver to latest:

I think i bought Kingston grey colour 240GB and installed by the store keeper and they help me to do the data migration as well.
Now i'm stuck even from the BIOS part. Do i need to take out the SSD and connect to my desktop to perform overall disk format before i stuck it into the laptop again to redo the whole HP BIOS thing? And so how do I transfer my Windows key to new SSD?
Thanks for the reply though. Never thought someone would reply.

You're welcome.
Take out the SSD.
Put back the hard drive in its bay.
Perform extensive hard drive tests from System Diagnostics by tapping F2 or ESC key as soon as you power on laptop. Let it finish. If everything PASSED.
Now plug in AC adapter charge power, do the IRST driver update and BIOS update.
Restart, clone the HDD to SSD again. Use Macrium Reflect software to do the clone.
Put in SSD and power on.

Well, from bad to worst. I reformatted the whole laptop meaning kill all the storage partition and become blank storage device because the HP restore wizard freeze during the installation process. Now I manage to re-install windows 10 using a flash drive I had but digital entitlement went missing along with the reformatting. HP Bios and HP related software, bootware all gone.
Should I just call HP tech support and use my warranty?

Your laptop came with Windows 10 from factory.
Windows 10 Home 64 bit product activation key is embedded in BIOS chip on motherboard.
Clean installation of Windows 10 Home 64 bit by creating UEFI bootable Windows installation USB using Microsoft Windows media creation tool, would get automatically activated after installation while connected to internet:

Additional drivers from here: https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-pavilion-15-au100-notebook-pc/12499208/model/127...
HP support agents may not help you in SSD upgrade. They'll help you get back to hard drive if you've any difficulty.
