I am having a BSOD after working for 10-15 minutes in my HP laptop. Before the BSOD, laptop is working perfectly. The BSODs are variable....  some are "Memory management" and some showing "System thread exception not handled".  I have already replaced my RAM 7 days ago and performed a clean install of Windows. For 4 days, laptop was working like newly bought. Then the errors started coming. Please help me in this issue. Thanks in advance.

Actually I have figured it out. The main problem was not in the RAM as it was newly bought. The main problem was in the plug point of my room. I called an electrician and he told me after checking the voltage in the plug point with a digital instrument that it lacked earthing.... thats why the problem was frequent. He repaired the switch board and configured it properly and I am having a perfect laptop once again. No problem for last 7 days. Overheating from a malfunctional electric board might be an important cause of frequent BSOD with memory module error and it should always be investigated properly if the RAM is in good condition.

Thank you for posting on HP Forums,

Riddle_Decipher is at your service.

As I understand there have been frequent BSOD errors followed by the HP hardware test error,

No worries, as I'll be glad to help you, that said, I'll need a few more details to dissect your concern & provide an accurate solution:

Have you ever received this failure ID before replacing the RAM?

Did you reseat the ram and re-run the test to identify the issue as the test is for the memory module?

While you respond to that, here's what you need to know:

I have managed to decipher or decode the failure ID and here's what it represents:

Memory Module Failure (no DIMM id) - error code 200

That said, the best thing to do is to Contact HP and have an repair/replacement order set up, as this is a hardware malfunction:

HP Support can be reached by clicking on the following link:

* Open link:  www.hp.com/contacthp/

* Enter Product number or select to auto detect

* Scroll down to "Still need help? Complete the form to select your contact options"

* Scroll down and click on HP contact options - click on Get a Case & phone number.

They will be happy to assist you immediately.

If the unit is under warranty repair services under the manufacturer's warranty will be free of charge.

Thank you for the update,

I appreciate your time and efforts,

I'm glad you found the solution for this concern.

I hope both you and your product works great and remain healthy for a long time 😉
