Hello,
I’m experiencing an issue with my HP Laptop 15-da2xxx where the screen suddenly turns black (with a slight bluish tint) during normal usage. The laptop remains powered on, but the display becomes completely unresponsive. I have to force a shutdown by holding the power button and then restart the device manually.

What I’ve already done:

  • Cleaned the fan and applied new thermal paste.

  • Disabled the dedicated NVIDIA MX110 GPU.

  • Updated all drivers and performed a clean Windows installation.

  • Planning to replace the CMOS battery.

Despite all this, the issue still occurs randomly.
I’d appreciate help in identifying whether the problem could be related to a power component, CMOS failure, or possibly a motherboard (logic board) issue.

Thank you in advance.WhatsApp Image 2025-06-18 at 03.25.17_dcc0bcdd.jpg

Hi:

The model series has no CMOS battery.

The main internal battery also serves as the CMOS battery to maintain the BIOS and system clock settings.

I do not believe that it is a battery-related problem.
