I want to increase RAM from 8 to 16 GB by adding a second identical Samsung Memory to slot 2. But with both slots occupied the computer wont start again. With one Slot only it works with eighter Memories. Who can help?

If it doesn't recognize the added memory module it is likely not absolutely identical to the originally installed memory module.
Does GPU-z recognize the module as being installed?
CPU-z will show all information about the module so you can compare them, if it recognizes it as being installed.
"With one Slot only it works with eighter Memories."
Please rephrase that. It is not understandable in English.

Thanks Erico!
Both Samsung 8 GB modules are identical and both work perfectly installed in slot one. But when I install them both (one in slot one and the other in slot two the computer won't start up anymore. (3 long beeps/lights, then two short beeps/lights) If I start the computer with one module only (original supply) and I go into BIOS Setup Utility there's no possibility to activate RAM slot 2.
Thanks for your input!

You're welcome.
Can you provide a screenshot of what CPU-Z shows as installed?
Use the SPD tab in the app. See the example below.
I have four modules installed in this desktop PC and I can click on the dropdown arrow to see the specifications of each.
