Sorry for my English.
My HP Laptop 15-bs1xx with i7-8550U is more than one year. I am a software developer and sometimes perform stress tests for developing an application with 100% CPU. However, only a couple of months ago, I noticed the fan noise. I tried to fix it by following ways:
- Update all drivers;
- Update BIOS;
- Reinstall Windows 10 Home Edition;
- Use all tests from HP Support Assistant;
- Change fun (yep, I even change it).
All these steps were made by an employee from a computer service. Nothing helps.
After watching a video on YouTube, I set 85% value for "Maximum processor state" (MPS) option. It helps🙂! However, I realise that it is a workaround which reduces laptop speed😏
As I said at the beginning, I did not hear such a high fun noise for one year. Now, I suspect that some regular Windows 10 Update☹️ brought that issue.
I even can not set 90% for MPS, because then Turbo mode is turned on and fun again get started cry.
What should I do else to back full my laptop speed?
